Shaun is a forward-thinking and dedicated expert with extensive experience in business analysis, project management, records information & knowledge management, training & development, curriculum development, and compliance. He collects and analyzes data to make sound business decisions and considers problems from various angles to resolve issues. He is a student of trends to anticipate future needs, opportunities, and risks. Being a self-motivated team player who enjoys collaborating with multiple levels within an organization to successfully meet corporate goals, Shaun Six joined the UTSI team in February 2022.

Daniel W. Nagala, GICSP, CEH

Chief of Systems Engineering and Consulting

Mr. Nagala is the Chief of Systems Engineering and Consulting for UTSI International, and is one of its original founders. Mr. Nagala’s responsibilities include general corporate management functions, as well as active participation in a wide range of control system, leak detection and cyber security consulting projects.

Prior to founding UTSI in 1985, Mr. Nagala was the Director of Software Research and Development at Control Applications, Inc. (now part of Schneider Electric). Over the past forty (40) years, Mr. Nagala has acted as consultant, project manager and technical leader on numerous large and small pipeline control system projects worldwide. His expertise includes liquid and gas pipeline SCADA systems, real-time data communication systems, control system and network architecture, cyber security and advanced pipeline application technology, including real-time modeling and leak detection.

Mr. Nagala has been responsible for the design, technical specification and execution of numerous control system projects, application software projects and product development efforts. He holds an engineering-based Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (1976) from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, Arizona, and also holds both Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certifications.
